Giclée is a type of fine arts print. The word is pronounced “zhee’clay” and it comes from the French term “gicleur,” which means “to spray.” An inkjet printer sprays the ink onto paper (or canvas). This produces a very high resolution reproduction of the original 3D artwork. Giclée prints have longer lifespan—they’re resistant to smudging, sun, or humidity damage. Pigment inks, unlike dye inks, are UV-resistant and stronger when prints are handled. The prints below are printed on archival paper.
Prints are generally available as 16" x 16" unless otherwise described. All sizes accept standard sized frames readily available at box stores or via the Internet.
