So pleased to be at the upcoming August 20 Agora Art Fair. Over 100 artists at this very successful show. 10 AM to 5 PM at 5500 E. Cheryl Parkway.
Save the dates Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9 to stop by the Oregon Art Center, home of 14 South Artists. Eight guild artists, including me, will be showing and selling their creations. The gallery is full of works by many other artists, and all are available for purchase. Hours for the pop-up are 10:00 - 4:00 both days.
A recent article in the Wisconsin State Journal profiles the brand new 14 South Artists Guild gallery in Oregon, Wisconsin's "Tin Man" pump house. The article describes how the guild created the new gallery in the building originally constructed in 1899. Juried works by guild artists are on display and available for purchase in the quaint, sun-bathed interior, which 14 South Artists president Francine Tompkins describes as “intimate.” You can see my fish and bird sculptures in the back of the photo.
I am very pleased that the sculpture "Flowerful Chicken" shown in the page header above, received a "Judge's Choice" award in the 2022 Madison Art Guild Summer Salon. This and many other works from MAG members were on display at the Surgical Waiting Area Suite within University Hospital, Madison, WI.
You can now find a wide assortment of Fishmonger Studio fish and bird sculptures at the fabulous Farwell Gallery in McFarland, Wisconsin. Kristen has created a gallery space that has truly beautiful hand-made arts and crafts of all mediums. Definitely worth stopping by this new space. McFarland is just south of Madison.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that The Mineral Point Gallery in Mineral Point, Wisconsin is now representing my Fishmonger Studio sculptures. The gallery prides itself in promoting "Fine art to Folk art". Mineral Point is a charming, art-filled historic town just 45 minutes west of Madison.
